3 - GET INFORMED
Attend a monthly EDKRA meeting, speak with local kart shops/members and ask as many questions as possible. Karting is an investment, make sure you are well informed of the costs before purchasing a membership.
4 - FIND OUT WHAT CLASS YOU WILL BE RACING IN
Find out what class you want to race in and purchase the right kart for the class you will be racing in! If you are unsure, connect with an Executive Member of the club to ask more questions, attend Try-A-Kart or speak with a local dealer/member to find out more information about racing and what kind of kart you should invest in.

1 - MEMBERSHIP FORMS AND WAIVERS
Fill out the waiver forms on our website and email them to registrations@edkra.club. Please see them below in the MEMBERSHIP FORMS section.
2 - ROOKIE SCHOOL (NEW MEMBERS) & TIME TRIALS
Sign up for Rookie School and Time Trials at the beginning of the season!
3 - EDKRA KART NUMBER REGISTRATION
Go to www.motorsportreg.com/orgs/edkra and sign-up for a reserved kart number. Registering a kart number is essential for race day/scoring. There is no charge for reserving your numbers.
4 - ATTEND AN EDKRA GENERAL MEETING
Attend a monthly EDKRA meeting and ask any questions you may have before going to the track to practice for the first time. Once you are signed up you will receive an email notification of when the General Meetings are. Typically General Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of every month around 7:00pm via zoom.

A racing membership allows good standing members to utilize the EDKRA Facility anytime at their discretion for unlimited practice (9am-9pm). Weather permitting and provided that no official race events are scheduled.
Allows good standing members racing in EDKRA events to achieve points towards the EDKRA series championship.
Allows membership family, ONE voting privilege for yearly executive elections.
Allows for invitation to all club events and meetings.
Any EDKRA Membership also requires the Volunteer commitment (read on to find out more!) Membership to the club goes from April 1 to March 31 the following year.
Membership does not include race event fees/karts/parts etc. Family Members must reside in the same household.
All members of the EDKRA must complete Waiver Forms before using the EDKRA facility.
There are two forms that must be filled out for any minors that will be racing as well. These forms must be completed and turned in to the Executive before the minor can race. No exceptions.

Membership is completed online through Motorsports Reg. You will need a free account with them and then you can register for the current race season membership.
EDKRA members looking to renew (or new members looking to join) for the season will be able to pay their club membership dues online in the spring through Motorsport Reg.

As a not-for-profit organization, the EDKRA depends on the volunteer participation of its members to ensure the maintained operations of the Club’s ordinary business, as well as the safe, fun and successful running of its family-focused race events.
All members are required to pay a volunteer fee at the beginning of the season. The volunteer fee must be paid in full along with the first family member’s Annual Membership, and is refundable at a rate decided at the beginning of the season. Volunteer hours must be logged and approved in order to receive the credit back or towards race event entry fees. At the beginning of the season volunteer duties/hours are announced with more information regarding how to sign up and log your hours.
