The EDKRA website uses educational, informative and member-focused content that relates to the world of karting. So, we welcome any valuable content for members and people in karting to understand better kart racing, maintenance, mechanical know-how, exciting and creative kart racing related topics with preference given to practical advice that readers can use immediately. Below is a sample list of ideas to better understand what types of blogs and content we are looking for on our website.

Mechanical know-how (How to change a sprocket, how to change tires, how to change gas, how to do a rain set up etc.)

Kart Racing Tips (How to race in the rain, how to hit an apex perfectly, how to warm up your tires)

EDKRA (History on the track, members announcement, racing announcement)

Karting Photography (EDKRA track, Race Photography, Editorial, Member Portraits, Photojournalism)

We are looking for people who have experience writing and publishing articles to get featured on our website! However, we are always open to receiving article submissions from experts who have a proven track record in karting! Exceptions can be made for those that demonstrate a deep understanding of karting, EDKRA and in the world of motorsport. Considerations for EDKRA youth that are wanting to share their passion for karting and motorsport will be considered. 

All articles and blogs must be well-written and grammatically correct.

All articles need to be friendly, professional and demonstrate a positive, conversational and educational tone.

Your article/blog/post must be original and published by you.

We do not require a minimum length for the article, but we recommend writing a piece of substance and keeping it under 1,000 words to avoid being too long for readers.

Your submission should be helpful and engaging to people on our website.

Please include images related to your article for our readers to get engaged with your content visually. Stock photos need to be royalty-free and able to be shared on our website (please include a link of purchase/permission to use the photo submitted)

Headshots and mini-bios are encouraged with submissions.

Ensure that you proofread your blog before submitting it to our team. Make sure you use spellcheck, grammarly.com or another useful editing platform to ensure your post flows properly for the reader.Use short paragraphs, subheadings, and/or bullet lists to break up your article.

The recommended length is 50-75 words (2-3 sentences). Think twitter/instagram bio length.

You can include 2-3 social media/website/email links in the author bio for you (website, social media link, email)

Email your blog post to marketing@edkra.club with “EDKRA WEBSITE - BLOG/MARKETING SUBMISSION” in the subject line.

Please ensure that you send us your blog/article/post in an editable document format or a link to dropbox/box to download pictures and information quickly.

All blog submissions need to be reviewed by our team; it can take a couple of weeks to get back to you.
